Terms of Use
By using this website you agree to these terms. Unlike most government terms, these fit on one page and do not require Form 27-B/6.
This is a parody
America Chat is satire. It is not a government website and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the U.S. government or any federal, state or local agency. The agencies, forms, websites, office hours, documents and future dates mentioned in answers are made up.
Nothing here is real advice
Answers on this site are fake and assembled from joke templates. Nothing here is legal, tax, financial, immigration, medical or any other kind of advice, and none of it should be relied on for anything. For real government information, go to USA.gov or the official website of the agency involved.
Not an emergency service
If you or someone else is in danger, call 911. If you are thinking about suicide or are in emotional distress, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (U.S.).
Your questions
When you submit a question, you give us permission to store it and to display or publish it, together with its fake answer, on this site. Don’t submit personal or confidential information, or anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, or that you don’t have the right to share. We may remove any question at any time, for any reason, or for no reason, which is our process.
Acceptable use
Please don’t flood the site with automated requests, scrape it, try to break or overload it, or use it to harass anyone. We limit how many questions each visitor can ask per day and may block access to anyone misusing the site.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t promise it will be accurate (it won’t), available, or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site. Relying on a website that tells you to notarize your notary is at your own risk.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
